So, what a crazy few months this has been!!! Self isolating has been a challenge. I hope you are all ok, healthy, and safe, wherever you are in this world. And I hope that you have been able to be creative too, even though I know it has been really hard to focus on art making (or much of anything, really!)
Before the pandemic started (and it feels so weird to even type that!) I had been accepted into a very awesome show, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this news with you!
THIS is what I have been working hard on lately…
On Friday, May 22nd, 2020, I will sharing these 21 original portrait paintings online at Stephanie Gagos’ Auction Group, for the Spring Show she showcases every year! I have been showing up for these spring auctions for a few years now, supporting my artist friends, buying awesome art, and just being part of the art community. They really are so fun to attend!
But for me to be showcasing my art for the first time in this auction…makes me over the moon happy!
Ever since I knew I would be included in this show, I have been working hard to make a body of work that I was proud of. And I can’t wait to share them all with you!
The auction starts at 1pm EST time. All pieces will be up for bidding at that time. Some will end that evening, and others will end the following morning. There will also be some available at BIN (Buy it Now) price as well.
If you have never been to this online auction, here is a gateway to the Spring Show page, as well as instructions on how it works. Once you get into the photo folder, seeing all the works of art up for the day is easy, and bidding on a piece is as easy as putting a comment under the photo. That’s it!
You don’t have to come and buy, you can just come and say hello, and be there for moral support…I would love that! If you have any questions about this show that starts tomorrow, just let me know by either sending a private message through Facebook, Lucy Cooke. Or by email at ArtcyLucy.Studio@yahoo.com
Thank you so much for being here! Please stay safe, my friends. And be creative when you can…it really does help right now, to keep our art making a part of our lives. It’s important, and it lifts the spirits, don’t you think???
All of the pieces below, will be available tomorrow.
